White Fordite??? You bet! This is one of the most unique examples of this fun "stone" that I have ever seen. Its shape is elegant and edgy, but the unusual color palette that is grounded in white makes it super special.

This bold, avant garde ring is 1 3/4" tall x 1/3" wide. It has a layered sterling silver band that measures 3/16" wide and will be custom sized from 3-13 (please send me an email with your size when you order). Crafted from solid sterling silver.

What is Fordite? Well...the best description comes from Wikipedia: Fordite "is old automotive paint which has hardened sufficiently to be cut and polished.It was formed from the buildup of layers of enamel paint slag on tracks and skids on which cars were hand spray-painted (a now automated process), which have been baked numerous times." It is now cut by lapidary artists into cabochons for jewelry!
